Peas and Carrots

We go together like peas and carrots,

Just like the summer crickets, listen hear it!

***

[Sounds] Crickets x 6 – Exclaim: Peas and Carrots!

***

When we’re jumping, sometimes we’re silly

Just like the leaping frog from pad to lily!

***

[Sounds] Rivet x 2, Crickets x 6, Peas and Carrots!

When it’s raining and I hear a crack,

Just like the thunder when it starts to clap!

***

[Sounds] Clap x 6, Rivet x 2, crickets x 6, Peas and Carrots!

The sounds of morning wake me from my sleep.

Just like the rooster crowing down the street!

***

[Sounds]  Cockle-doodle-doo, Clap x 6, Rivet x 2, Crickets x 6, Peas and Carrots!

I hear the music with a catchy beat,

Just like the rhythm tapping at my feet!

***

[Sounds]  Stomp feet x 6, Cockle-doodle-doo, Clap x 6, Rivet x 2, Crickets x 6,  [Exclaim:]  Peas and Carrots!
